| Developing Web Applications using Spring MVC |
| Before the meeting, there will be a pizza social starting at 7:00pm with Rebecca Capuano and Mary Martini from TEK Systems to discuss career opportunities. Pizza will be served, so if your schedule allows, please plan to arrive early and bring copies of your resume. |
| This month's meeting picks up where the January 2007 meeting left off. In January, we reviewed how to build a web application step-by-step using the Spring MVC module. We will review a web application using a MySQL database backend (as opposed to the HSQL in-memory database that was used in the overview) and demonstrate how to insert/update data from the database using Spring. |
| Also, two (2) IntelliJ IDEA licenses will be raffled off at the end of the meeting! |
| Meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month at the Scotch Plains Rescue Squad second floor meeting hall starting promptly at 7:30pm. Meetings are open to the public, and visitors are encouraged to join ACGNJ. |
