Designing and Implementing RESTful Web Services with Spring

This month, Paul Furbacher will provide a walk-through of Spring.io's "Designing and Implementing RESTful Web Services with Spring" tutorial. He will quickly review REST concepts, and then move on to the tutorial. Along the way, Paul will look at how to use your IDE to import and work with example or tutorial projects found on repository hosting sites such as GitHub, BitBucket, and the likes. Being able to quickly import such projects potentially speeds up the process of leaning new stuff in your effort to stay current.

NOTE: This will be Paul's "farewell" presentation as he and his family will be moving to Boston. Paul has been a regular attendee and frequent presenter of our group since November 2002. He attended a total of 96 meetings and has made 15 presentations (including this month's meeting). I know I speak for the entire group of "regulars" as we will indeed miss Paul's technical expertise and thank him for all his contributions over these past 12 years!

Meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month at the Scotch Plains Rescue Squad second floor meeting hall starting promptly at 7:30pm. Meetings are open to the public, and visitors are encouraged to join ACGNJ.
