| Demystifying Microservices for Java EE Developers |
| Microservices has been a popular topic these past few years and there has been much debate over their implementation and migrating a monolith applications. Mike will introduce microservices, discuss their advantages and disadvantages, why Java EE/Jakarta EE can be used for microservices, and provide a demonstration of a microservices application deployed with Payara Micro. |
| Meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month at the Dorothy Young Center for the Arts, Room 106, at Drew University starting promptly at 6:30pm. Meetings are open to the public, and visitors are encouraged to join ACGNJ. |
