Proxy Power: Boosting Java App Performance with Open JDBC Proxy

We are happy to announce that Rogério Robetti will be our special guest for this month's meeting.

Open JDBC Proxy (OJP) is an open-source project that rethinks JDBC data source interactions for Java applications. By providing built-in backpressure through controlled connection handling and a built-in circuit breaker, also introducing slow query segregation - ensuring long-running queries cannot monopolize the pool resources - OJP delivers predictable performance, improved fault tolerance, and stronger reliability.

With seamless integration into modern Java stacks, OJP empowers developers to build database-driven systems that remain responsive under heavy load.
