Caitlin is a tech recruiter and the co-founder of Sandpiper Talent, a startup-focused recruiting company. By day, she partners with early-stage founders in setting up their talent organizations and hiring their early teams. After-hours, you'll find her connecting with others in tech and VC, learning and sharing how to create great products and workplaces. She takes great joy in introducing individuals who mutually enable each other to accomplish goals, and she is a ready advocate for diversity and mentorship.
In 2018, the Atlanta Java User Group fatefully introduced her to java as a community—beyond the skillset. In 2019, she jumped in full-tilt as a meetup organizer and conference facilitator. Upon returning to her home state of New Jersey in 2021, she joined the Garden State JUG.
Other highlights include: earned a B.S. in Economics at the University of South Carolina (take away: how to make good decisions amidst complex tradeoffs), recruited for Slalom #loveyourfuture
, avid reader, traveler, and concert-goer.
